I actually found out yesterday so I'm pretty calm about it now. I think I'm done with dA.
I've tried to get to grips with the new dA but I just don't enjoy being on here anymore. The format is too corperate, rather un-user friendly for mobile, a lot of my best friends who are also hardly/never on here anymore I can contact elsewhere and...well, it's just not the dA I used to enjoy visiting. And just as I was getting back into posting stuff on here too. I'm not deactivating my account as I have too many fond memories on here. So instead, I'm just going to keep it as an archive to revisit from time to time. So what I'm going to say is don't expect any new stuff from me on here anymore. I maybe on every now and then to check messages and give myself a nostalgia boost but for now, it's with an angry heavy heart that I am kinda saying goodbye to dA. The old dA, this new dA can shove it.

Well, shit balls.
I wasn't going to rant about the new dA but the last few days using it has been really irritating me more than it should. First, it took me a few days to realise that comments/replies etc and new art/journals/ statuses etc are NOT in the same notification page anymore - they are in two separate places now! For a while, I thought everyone had vanished until I went on my laptop and had a proper explore. More unnecessary work and navigation for us! Next, I've just found out that Sta.sh Writer is no longer available unless you want to edit existing stuff... I've got so many stories and story notes stored in Sta.sh! I think I'm going to remove and relocate everything in there to a safer place just in case... Then it took me about five minutes to try and find out how to make a Status update or a Journal so I can let off my new anger with the site! Grr... the more I use the new dA, the less I like it.
