PPPE: Thank You

“Likewise.” I say. “I’m just sorry I nearly blew the whole thing... Nails, if you hadn’t had shot that Beagle Boy, I think the whole plan would have gone up in smoke. And you saved me from God knows what!”
Nails blushes and twiddles with his thumbs, his other pair of hands behind his back. “Aw, gee, it’s nothing, really. I only did what Frank would have done...”
“Are you kidding? You rescued the plan, you saved me, and more importantly, you risked your allergies. For that I’m truly grateful. Thank you.” I bend down and kiss him on the forehead. His face turns as red as his nose and he begins making gibbering noises, choking on his cigar and coughing up smoke. And I swear I saw a small trail of hearts float away.
