A Rough Guide to the PTPPEs

A Hopefully Brief Guide to The Part Time Paranormal Private Eyes

The Gang

- Will: a mortal human who was transported to the Neitherworld after accidentally summoning Spike. Although smart and sometimes level-headed, he is still getting used to the weird ways of the other realms.
- Emily: a ghost and the only female member of the team. Sweet and caring although don't get her angry.
- Spike:  an obnoxious, lecherous and rude Klown, a servant of Cthulhu.  He smokes like a chimney and generally annoys everyone.
- Wesley: a sarcastic, down-to-earth demon who has been cursed to possess a car for the rest of his days. He's the main mode of transport for the gang.

Honorary and new members include:

- Laura: a feisty zombie with a passion for music. Emily's best friend.
- Diana: a no-nonsense werewolf who serves as the gang's lawyer and dealings with legal stuff.
- Dr Henry Jekyll: a shy yet very intelligent man who has befriended the gang. Though the same can't be said for his counterpart. He and Diana are now married.
- Kylie: a sweet werehog and Will's fiancee.
- Minerva O'Brien: A happy-go-lucky (and rather mischievous) leprechaun who owns a pawn shop in the merchant district of the Neitherworld, tends to call in favors and find jobs for the team to do for her if they're short on cash.
- Sid Nefarious: Will's reformed and now separated alter ego. A lovable rogue, he is now married to Nigel, although their relationship is very much open.

Misc Friends & Clients

- Philoctetes: Phil for short, the owner of a Olympus-Themed Gym where the team has a discounted membership.
- Frank Harris: a Cool World police detective, helped the team capture a small group of the Beagle Boys when they were hiding out in his jurisdiction.
- Nails the Spider: Frank's long-time partner, has a small crush on Emily.
- Count Dracula: The self-proclaimed king of the vampires, has undeniable interest in Emily due to her uncanny resemblance to a former bride of his.
- Swallowtail: a laid-back ghost who's Juno's assistant. He's a brotherly figure to Emily and an old friend of Wesley.
- Jackie: a human girl accidentally bought the Neitherworld by Swallowtail. She becomes friends the the PTPPEs after they help save her from Beetlejuice.
- Juno: the non-nonsense firm case worker of ghosts and ghouls. She is about as respected as a President, and was Emily's therapist in her early days as a ghost.
- Mrs Swagger AKA Swag Hag - Mok Swagger's flirtatious mother. She is currently Spike's lover.
- Nigel Cadbury: a charming unicorn and Sid's husband.
- Alex: not much is known about Alex.
- Algernon Wesley: Wesley's sassy demon drag queen father who also goes by the name Lucille DuBois.
-Thomas Flanagan: a renowned wulver chef with an infamous temper. He's also Kylie's boss.

Locations

- Earth: the ignorant, naive world of mortals. The gang doesn't go to the real world much.
- The Neitherworld: a strange fantastical realm of eccentricities, such as the undead and things that go bump in the night. The Neitherworld interconnects with other worlds and realms, such as Toontown, Never Land and many more.
- The Underworld: an undead kingdom in the realm of Tartarus ruled by Zeus' brother, Hades. One of the many afterlives connected directly to the Neitherworld.
- The Land of the Dead: Where ghosts and other undead mingle and party the night away. Separated into Ghost, Zombie, Skeleton, and Ghoul districts.
- Toontown: The crazy land where beings known as Toons or Doodles reside. Cool World was once part of Toontown but is now defunct.
- Halloweentown

What to expect:

- Spike is generally a nuisance. It is very rare that he is helpful rather than a hindrance.
- Emily tends to attract the attention of villainous males.
- Spike and Wesley are (almost) always arguing.
- Wesley is almost always on hand to make snarky comments.
- Will is so curious about things he shouldn't be curious about, it should be illegal.
- The misadventures are professional, personal or more than often a mixture.
- Crazy character encounters and plenty of cameos are expected.


Presidents of the Worlds thus far and their opinions on the PTPPEs

- The Grim Reaper: (Grim for short) generally neutral towards the gang. Knows Emily rather well as she died the same day he got his beloved Porsche. Finds Spike irritating. He's begrudgingly best friends forever to Billy & Mandy.
- Lucious Helspañe: The acting king of 9 circles of Hell, and has hired Will as his book-keeper part-time. Got off to a rocky start due to Spike's accidental illegal summoning but now on good terms with the Private Eyes. (Although he still finds Spike annoying.)
- Asmodeus 'Azzie' Helspañe: Lucious' wife and the gorgeous Queen of Hell. Is also on good terms with the Private Eyes.
- Hades: This smooth talking lord of the underworld doesn't give a rat's ass about the male members (he doesn't even gets Will's name right.) Wesley in particular doesn't get on well with Hades. Emily develops a massive crush on him, which he uses to his advantage at first. They're currently having an affair.
- Jack Skellington: The Pumpkin King of Halloween (and to an extension Halloween Town), currently on joyous terms with the team after they helped him save Sally Ragdoll from Oogie's Casino.
- Xiabalba - the merciless ruler of the Land of the Forgotten and husband to La Muerte. He is one of the first Presidents Jackie encounters.
- La Muerte - one of the most beloved Underworld Presidents because of her charitable nature. Wife to Xiabalba and ruler of the Land of the Remembered, she is one of the first Presidents Jackie encounters.

Others yet to come

Enemies of the PTPPE

- Poison: a seductive thief/prostitute/lady of the night. She loves jewels and money.
- Clarisse: a bat who works with Poison. Busty and short-tempered, she's not to be messed with, especially first thing in the morning.
- The Coachman: proprietor of the "family friendly resort" known as Pleasure Island who is actually a demon looking for souls.
- Turbo: once a video game character, he now races around the Neitherworld looking for another way to find a foothold in this "Bigger Game".
- "Nurse" Cindy White: a pale-skinned woman with red eyes and sharp teeth in a nurse-fetish costume. She has an unhealthy obsession with Spike and stalks him persistently.
- Beetlejuice: the self-proclaimed "ghost with the most" has been sentenced as a taxi driver for his crimes. Obnoxious, lecherous and disgusting, he can be seen frequenting numerous bars, brothels and casinos.
- Joe: an arrogant former pilot fish turned human who turned to Dr Jekyll for help in turning him back. He has an obsession with Diana and power.
- Mok Swagger: a narcissistic rock star who has sold his soul to Lucious and (accidentally) B.L. Zebub. He has a particular hatred towards Diana and Laura.
- B.L. Zebub: a powerful devil who collects the souls of desperate musicians. He wants revenge on Laura but has lascivious interests in Emily.
- Zaebos: Lucious'  younger brother has been the culprit behind at least a few of the Private Eyes' cases. Lustful and debonair.

- The 'Legion of Doom': Basically a group of villains who want the PTPPEs wiped off the face of the earth and beyond. They include:
* Dr Facilier - generally hates the gang as a whole, is currently being hunted down by his former "friends on the other side".
* Oogie Boogie - his casino is their main base. Particularly hates Spike due to gambling losses. Also best friends with Sid.
* Captain Hook - also hates the gang but has a lust/hate relationship with Emily.
* Edward Hyde - loud, obnoxious and lecherous, nothing at all like his counterpart. He's not really evil, and sometimes begrudgingly helps the Private Eyes. He's just an absolute menace.
* The Beagle Boys - the manual labor of most of the groups dirty work.
